Routine eye exams are recommended once per year to maintain healthy eyes and detect any potential eye problems that can occur in children or adults. Contact lenses for corneal diseases and after corneal surgery
The cornea is the clear, front surface of the eye. It is normally smooth and helps bring light into focus on the retina. When the cornea is affected by a disease such as keratoconus, or after surgery such as a corneal transplant, the cornea can lose its smooth optical surface.
If this occurs, ordinary eyeglasses will no longer provide clear vision, and a rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lens may be necessary. An RGP contact lens creates a new, smooth optical surface that can help give you back usable vision. We can determine if this type of lens will help you.
We offer the highest level of optical service and quality optical products. We invite you to visit our optical boutique during your office visit. Our prices are competitive with other optical stores, and we give you personal attention as you shop.
